Silver Cross to fund groundbreaking research into recurrent miscarriage and preterm birth

The UK’s leading manufacturer of high quality prams and nursery equipment, Silver Cross has agreed a philanthropic partnership with Professor Winston’s medical research Charity, Genesis Research Trust. Two Silver Cross Bursaries will enable leading scientists at the Wolfson and Weston Institute for Family Health to undertake two major new studies into the prediction of early preterm birth and to find markers in the lining of the womb to predict adverse pregnancy outcomes before birth.

This amazing lady is about to join a group of very special women on her next ride to China this year. But she won’t be hanging up her helmet for long, as she will be heading for the next Women for Women cycle challenge to Vietnam and Cambodia in 2011.
