FUNDRAISING
The Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Trust (IOGT) and Women for Women are both chaired by Professor Robert
Winston

The IOGT funds research at the Wolfson and Weston Research Centre
for Family Health (WWRCFH), Imperial College London, which houses
the largest team of doctors and scientists in Britain, working together
to improve the health of women and babies.
Women for Women raises funds to help train women scientists and
clinicians of the future, pushing the boundaries of medical knowledge
to improve women’s health and the incidence of healthy pregnancy.
The IOGT’s fundamental aim is to ensure that women have ongoing
good health throughout their lives and to ensure that more women
have a normal pregnancy and a healthy baby. Each year this research
centre trains at least ten scientists. Working alongside eminent
researchers, they make invaluable contributions to our research
projects. We are pushing the boundaries of medical knowledge and
training future generations that will take our work forward well
into the 21st century.
We need to recruit scientists of the highest calibre to expand
this programme. With your help we can safeguard our future generations.
